Education:
Dr. Turner received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Austin College in 1986. He received his Medical Doctorate from the University of texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1990.

Residency:
He completed his residency serving the U.S. Navy at JAX Naval Hospital from 1990-1993 in Jacksonville, Florida. He then went to RAF Edzell, Scotland and served as Assistant Medical Officer from 1993-1996.

Certification:
He is board certified in Family Practice, including Obstetrics and Pediatrics.
